Full Circle

Dear reader,

And just like that, I’m back in Italy where we started a couple of weeks ago. It’s fun to come back to a place that I know! Especially when there are so many nice people and playthings there. And a dog!

But first, let me tell you a bit more about my trip around Germany and Switzerland. So Ludwigsburg was fun, as I told you already in my last post. To round off my German experience the authorities took me to an area called Schwarzwald which is a total misnomer because there are a lot of trees but ain’t nothing schwarz about them. Weird.

We stayed in Triberg where they had a pretty big waterfall which was the main attraction, closely followed by the cuckoo clock shop. Wonderful place. I’m still talking about cuckoo clocks even though the authorities don’t seem all that interested in them anymore but I think the mechanics are just fascinating, don’t you? And how delightfully silly to have a bird come out every hour and tell you the time! Ah, the human spirit knows no bounds…

Anyway, the waterfall:

Then we went to Zurich to see the lovely Emma and her authorities. She’s a wonderful dog that lets me do anything to her. Great animal.

And then it was already time again to head back to Italy where, I already told you, yet another dog was waiting for me. They just can’t get enough of me. Also did a spot of gardening over the weekend.

And thanks to my godfather I got to play in this lovely contraption!

Tomorrow we’re having a big party because it’s Catering’s birthday. I’m told there will be balloons and party hats so I’m cool with that. And next weekend some rabbit is going to come by and bring us eggs. Still trying to work that out but I love eggs so that’ll probably be fun.

Happy kisses from Italy,
Small Paw
