We Will Miss This Town

Endspurt is German for ‘final spurt’ as in “We’re almost entering our Endspurt in New York City”. A very sad thought but looking at the pictures and thinking about all the lovely people we saw and the wonderful food we ate and the marathon-theater-going that is still to come in the next two weeks (Hi Kuru!), we’re very happy about our stay in the city that only naps occasionally.

At Fort Tyron park which surrounds the cloisters up in northern Manhattan.

The entrance to the cloisters museum. If you've never been, it's quite a pretty spot. Entirely built from looted cloisters, mostly French. Fun stuff!

The Occupy Wall Street protest at Zuccotti Park

Visiting the Occupy Wall Street Library in Zuccotti Park. Not sure what happened to the library now that the park has been cleared... EDIT: Evicted like the rest of the protesters. http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/occupy-wall-street-library-evicted_b42238
